The Density/Porosity Analyzer, provides users with the true density of powders and solids by determining its true volume under controlled conditions. It operates on the principle of gas expansion based on Boyle’s law of isothermal process and ideal gas law. A sample of known mass is placed into a sample chamber, and is pressurized with an inert gas such as helium or nitrogen. The pressure is then measured, and the true volume of the sample is evaluated which further is then used to calculate density/porosity.
