TECHNOLOGY

The Density/Porosity analyzer also known as Helium Pycnometer provides users with the true density of pharmaceutical powders and solids by determining its volume and mass under controlled conditions. It operates on the principle of gas expansion based on Boyle’s law of isothermal process and ideal gas law. The sample is placed in a chamber, and the chamber is pressurized with an inert gas such as nitrogen or helium.
